This past weekend I was able to drop by our annual Information Volunteer training at the Highland Center. Information Volunteers are an invaluable resource to AMC and the general public, providing safety information, sharing their knowledge of natural history and conservation, and assisting staff with retail and membership sales. They are a dedicated group, and terrific ambassadors for the organization. Our 200 Information Volunteers give 9,000 hours of their time to AMC each year.

Becoming an information volunteer is one of the many ways members can give back to AMC and the special places they love. We have a complete listing of volunteer opportunities on our website.
If you happen to be at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, the Highland Center, or the huts this summer, stop by and say hello to our "info vols" – and thank you!
